Effects of Divorce on Children

               This project was a personal one to dig into. As a child who's lived through divorce, what isn't always talked about is the effects it has on children caught in the situation at hand. My mentor (source) being my brother was the ideal choice to keep this one close to the vest. It started with an interview. I asked a few simple questions. How did growing up in a divorced household affect him as an adult? If he noticed anything prior and or during the divorces? and how did it affect him at the time.

 What these questions ultimately led to was not only more questions, but it led to learning these few key things: 1. How it affected his relationships(family, friends and dating life), his views on marriage and why he is ultimately terrified by it, and most of all how it affects him as a parent.  This changed my project a little from what my original concept was. Now highlighting the relationships most affected by his experience/trauma of divorce.
