I started with this mirror image from my job. When I think of surrealism I think of Salvador Dali and his melting clocks. This image of the mirror reminded me of that because of its placement. Another thing that I think of when I think of surrealism is the size of our universe. It can be really daunting and eerie but incredibly overwhelming as well. I wanted to portray this in my final project.
I drew Leah's image for this photobomb project. I was pretty excited about it though because the statue had a cool expression. I thought it was kind of perfect to incorporate into a surrealist project.
This is my final! I incorporated hands to make it more surrealist and I wanted to include a relevant background. It's a representation of the real world and the scary reality of the vastness of the universe.
