Project Four: Surreal Photobomb

For this project, I chose to focus on the beautiful things and, more specifically, beautiful people in my life. I chose to focus more on the female friends that I have that have either past or present issues with body image and self-confidence (except the baby, Caroline, because I sure hope she doesn't have self-image issues already).

These are all the people that are incorporated into the piece.

My original image was this:

I built on top of this image layering in other images of flowers and incorporating the photos previously displayed. 

PROCESS:

I started out with just the image of my friend with the umbrella until I formed the idea of making a project honoring the great women friends I have in my life. 

FINAL

-I wanted to keep it very feminine so I kept the very pink tones from the original image of the cherry blossoms by putting photo filters on the different pieces. The last touches were the addition of Kay's light painting shots.
    -All of the shots included are photos I've taken.
    -My photobomb is the duck :)
