Destroy the Icon

For my icon, I decided to work with Carrie Fisher. She is absolutely one of my favorite actresses and such a fantastic person. I picked a Star Wars picture of her because of her iconic hair buns. Plus I am a movie fanatic and I love creating art with movies. I wanted to make a tribute to her and I thought this would be a perfect way.
My first two images show Carries with her strong side with the gun show. This shows her serious side and her "bad" character. The first one has a star background with a very minimalistic picture of Carrie and fire seen through her. The second one is very cartoon-like with bright colors and saturation.
The second two are more girly and fun. These do not show the gun and have brighter and colorful pictures that show her sweet and caring character. My third art piece shows her hair and dress which is very feminine. Her silhouette is iconic and if you can see that the background is the Millenium Falcon then you will know it is Carrie. Lastly, my fourth one is very feminine with the colors and her posture. If you take out her body it looks like a totally different picture. This picture was inspired by a magazine cover. I added stars and words in the background.
For my scanned object, I used a Millennium Falcon keychain and used it as one of my backgrounds. It gave the work so much detail and portrayed Star Wars if you looked at it hard enough
Most of my other backgrounds are mysterious and space themed to symbolize her character in Star Wars
